Microsoft Office Specialist “Public” ATCs:
this can be either a private company or a private institution. For
an ATC to be accredited as an Italian ATC, it must guarantee a minimum
of 10 hours of service per week to allow both internal and external
candidates to do certification exams.
Microsoft Office Specialist “Private” ATCs: this
type of ATC can only administer Microsoft Office Specialist certification
exams to their own staff (employees registered with the personnel
department), to their own students or military personnel. Organizations
that might be interested in being “public” ATCs include:
- Public or private Universities recognized by
the Ministry of Universities and Scientific and Technological Research
- Schools of all levels, whether public or private
as long as they are recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Research Institutes recognized by the Ministry
of Universities and Scientific and Technological Research
- Organizations that run Regional Training Courses
for Professional Training (whether day or evening courses) that
comply with Law No. 845/1978
- Military academies, military districts, or other
Armed Forces bases or sites
